"new" rimblow
Just got this from the Rim Blow Buddy. I think he did a good job. Still waiting on the other 1970 rim blow to get done. What looks like a scratch at the 7:00 position is just powder from handling the wheel with latex gloves.

Let's just say that my car hauls more ass than a rickshaw driver pulling Jennifer Lopez up a hill.
I currently have a Grant 1170 collector's edition wheel on my car and will be replacing it with the rim blow I posted.RobSchipper schreef:The other 1970...? But this is a 1969 rimblow steering wheel.
Nice wheel! Are you using it?
I have another rim blow that I bought by mistake. It is for a 1970+ mustang, which does not fit my 1969 mustang. I am having it restored by the rim blow buddy and then shipped over here where I will sell it to somebody here.

What was your total cost?
Best regards,
Johan
I bought the wheel off ebay for $360 and had it restored by the RBB for $625. That included a new pad, pad cover, and horn switch. I had no shipping costs to the NL. My total cost was $985.

Hi Jerry
I made the decision to do the same as you.
My advantage is that I have already the steering wheel, so that save a lot of extra cost.
I think you must pay the shipping cost to the USA, correct?
Kind regards,
Johan

I don't have to pay shipping costs to and from the US. It is a fringe benefit I enjoy from work.

The ebay link to the RBB is the deal I used. Unfortunately, the horn pad that came with my wheel could not be re-used as there was a large crack that was too big to be repaired so I had to buy another pad and cover. This added $225 to the cost. Please note that the RBB is not giving you a free pad as part of the $395 restoration but is offering to re-dye your old pad as part of the price.razor68blade schreef:Hi Rob,
