Ik heb het nog even nagekeken hier,en die conformation letter heb ik gekregen na een telefonisch verzoek van ons.De code hadden we toen al binnen,en dat was ook genoeg geweest.
We krijgen een zeer bijzondere Pacecar ! .
2010 Ford Shelby GT-500 to pace 45th Anniversary Drive.
The Official Pace Car of the Mustangs Across America 45th Anniversary Drive will be a 2010 Ford Shelby GT-500. Sponsored by Ford Motor Company, the Mustangs Across America pace car will lead the charge from Las Vegas, NV to Birmingham, AL with 45 years of Ford Mustangs in tow.
The 2010 Ford Shelby GT-500 pace car will join a list of great cars that have paced past Mustangs Across America drives including a 1994 and 1995 Mustang GT, 1996 Saleen S-281 Speedster, and a 2004 Roush Stage 3 Convertible.
The Shelby will be the most powerful and prestigious pace car to ever grace the Mustangs Across America event, given that few if any of them will have made it into customer’s hands by early April. The sound of the 540hp supercharged 5.4 liter V8 and the flashy style of the Mustangs Across America pace car is sure to draw a crowd everywhere it goes.
The pace car with its custom graphics will make its public debut online just a few days before the event begins and will appear for the first time in Las Vegas, NV at the kick-off celebration!
